So Pretty...

Edit 7:44 PM: Here is the Hauzen website. The tall skinny blue thing is an air conditioner. My Korean is a bit rusty but it looks like they also make a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a Roomba type thing. The decorations are the work of Andre Kim, a big, in Korea, name fashion designer.

I am so damn lucky that isn't on the market here. Because that? Would be my largest impulse purchase ever.

Judging by the 24Kg on the front of it, it's a big load washer, so is it really an impulse buy if you actually use it?

And why isn't it red all over?

Wow!!! Its all decked out...kindah looks like a kareoke machine to me though

What?! You don't sing along with your washing?

::Stares:: I f that mark on the front actually means you have a 12KG capacity, you may have to buy this. Out of curiosity I looked up the usual specks for the average American load of laundry.

A 5 to 7 pound (2.3 to 3.2 K) load of clothes
Moderate soil
Moderately hard water (3.6 to 7.0 grains per gallon or 61 to 120 parts per million or milligrams per liter)
Average water volume (17 gallons (64 L) in a top loading washer, or 4-8 gallons in a high-efficiency front loader).

Maybe it's for a high-end coin-op.

Here are the specs:

It claims to actually do 14Kgs...

I don't see a slot for money. Maybe Koreans just have bigger families?

That's unbelievably pretty! Why can't North American appliances look like that?

I remember the days when I lived in a house with a washing machine. No joke, after my cat's vet appointment this afternoon, I have to go to the laundromat... eight blocks and floor floors (no elevator in this building, kiddies!) away. *head desk*

*there* *there*

do i have a dirty mind or is that a pair of steel panties with a crest on the front?

It's your mind that is dirty.

The door appears to have a gold crest. Behind that you are seeing the steel tub which does, in fact, have a vaguely panty look when viewed from this angle.

i do not care how pretty the thing is, you will still not be able to get the teenagers to do the laundry!!!

No, that requires power cord threats.

You wouldn't want to hide it in the basement, that's for sure.

Wow, you weren't kidding. So, how much is it?

I have this thing about washing machines now...excuse the length of this post but you'll understand why I just spit coffee all over the keyboard laughing!

See, a few weeks ago I was reading 'Wallflower' by Feni and then I went to do my laundry and I have this awful wallpaper with flowers on it in the laundry room. Started thinking hentai thoughts about 'hot, white loads' and 'hot, dark loads' and then hubby comes into the room to ask me if he 'could put something in.' BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! He thought I'd lost it...

I've never looked at my washing machine the same way since, and this one...well...bet you can't do your laundry without at least smiling now!

That's one I missed. Sounds like it would liven up the wash.
