That Random Meme

► Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
► Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
► At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.

1. I'm an orphan.

2. At my most recent performance review my boss  asked me if he should find out what hoops I needed to jump through for a promotion. I told him to ask me again next year but for now forget it. I don't get to code enough as it is.

3. I am presenting at our company engineering do again this year; Code metrics and Analysis: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I created the topic, now I just have to write the presentation.

4. My husband thinks my new shoes, for which I have received many positive comments, some even unsolicited, are funny colored. You be the judge:

I've laced them with grey.

5.  I've come to the conclusion that I'm basically shallow. And that works for me.

6. I've never seen Ishtar but I like Hudson Hawk.

7. I love my Kindle. (See? shallow.)

8. I not only think that Monkey D. Luffy could totally kick Mr. Fantastic's ass.

That all sounds very sensible and yet, carries the whiff of the tragic.

Code Metrics and Analysis...

There, there. Have a spreadsheet.

Ah... the monkey work, it is always consoling.

Nothing like a known quantity to buck you up.

6. I've never seen Ishtar but I like Hudson Hawk.

I didn't mind the Willis movie. I don't know why it was so hated though. Plus, it was filmed around where I live so that's a plus with me.

It's funny listening to the commentary 'cuz the director keeps saying "...but it was popular in europe..."

8. I not only think that Monkey D. Luffy could totally kick Mr. Fantastic's ass.

I think this was an incomplete thought.

I think you are correct. I did have a second clause but thought better of including it in my family oriented journal.

4. Thumbs up; particularly with grey laces.

8. Yeah! Me too...wha?

4. Thanks.

8. I was going to add a risqué second clause and thought better of it. For the good of the children.

I really liked the Swinging on the Star scene from Hudson Hawk when I was a teen. Ishtar has a few good songs as well. Maybe I should look and see if it's on www.filmzzz.com and provide a link.

Swinging on a Star always makes me think of this Naruto AMV:

It helps if you know Naruto, though.
